Empowering Beauty with Purpose: IPMI Institute Supports Puteri Indonesia 2025 in Shaping Future Women Leaders

At IPMI International Business School, leadership means vision, integrity, and impact. On April 30, 2025, we had the distinct honor of hosting the leadership and character-building training for the finalists of Puteri Indonesia 2025, an annual celebration of not just beauty—but also brain, bravery, and social contribution.

Through this collaboration with Yayasan Puteri Indonesia, IPMI was entrusted to instill in these young women the values and capabilities needed to thrive in a fast-changing, VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) world.

In his keynote address, Prof. Aman Wirakartakusumah, Rector of IPMI Institute, shared his vision of leadership that transcends borders. Drawing from his diplomatic background as Indonesia’s Ambassador to UNESCO, Prof. Aman reminded the participants of their potential as modern cultural diplomats. He stressed that education remains the most powerful tool to drive global change—and that beauty with purpose and leadership with soul can move nations.

“We need leaders who are grounded in culture, driven by education, and committed to inclusion,” he noted. “Beauty is not enough—we need bravery, empathy, and a heart for service.”

Also sharing the stage was Ms. Rifa Zahirsjah, IPMI’s Vice Rector of Finance & Resources, who introduced the 6B Framework—Brain, Beauty, Behavior, Bright, Bravery, and Bisa (I Can). She encouraged the contestants to believe in their capacity to lead, serve, and inspire.

In a proud moment of institutional commitment, IPMI announced the continuation of full MBA scholarships for three Puteri Indonesia Intelegensia winners annually. Through this, we affirm our mission to cultivate future women leaders and expand opportunities for those who dare to dream bigger.

From diplomacy to digital innovation, from advocacy to academia—IPMI remains a home for those who aspire to lead with heart and impact with intelligence.
