LPMI Profile

We are heedful of the excellence of our education as the basis for producing professional graduates. That is why the establishment of an Internal Quality Assurance (LPMI) within IPMI Institute is regarded as a critical element in creating and coordinating a sustainable framework for maintaining its overall quality. Not only that, we work based on a purpose to control and improve the implementation of higher education in a planned and sustainable manner.

LPMI has been taking its role to monitor all aspects of teaching and learning regularly to ensure its consistency. It facilitates the review process of the study programmes and guides the school to set up best practices in adhering to high institutional standards. As well as through the assessment process, we direct the institution to take clear and comprehensive steps covering the professional development of academic staff, course content, curriculum and other matters related to the teaching and learning process.

We also obtained feedback from learners and others involved to help enhance the products and services offered. Then, if some deficiencies are found, they can be used as a reference in taking further action to maintain quality at the institutional and educational levels.

SPMI

The Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) which is managed and accommodated by LPMI takes into account the demands of continuous internal quality. This system includes the process of consistently establishing, fulfilling, controlling and developing quality standards for higher education management. The system also embraces institutional changes based on self-review thus enabling IPMI to provide a sustainable self-improvement scheme.

SPMI IPMI aims to ensure the fulfilment of the higher education standards of IPMI Institute. This quality assurance is important and can serve to overcome the emerging challenges, as the quality is being maintained and even developing in a better direction under the right systemic mode.

We aspire that the vision and mission which have been set can be realized, including the needs of stakeholders, through the implementation of the Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi. Therefore, in order for SPME and SPMI at the Institut IPMI Institute level to run properly, it is necessary to have SPMI at the institution/school and at the study program level.

The construction of minimum and academic service standards for IPMI Institute is also encouraged for organizing the educational process based on the right system. All of this goes hand in hand with periodic evaluations conducted through study program assessments in order to achieve broad and comprehensive implementation and improvement.

The objectives, cycle of activities and scope of implementation of SPMI IPMI are as follows:

  1. Determination of policies and/or Higher Education Standards for IPMI Institute;
  2. Implementation of policies and/or Higher Education Standards for IPMI Institute;
  3. Evaluation of the policies implementation and/or Higher Education Standards for IPMI Institute in the form of an internal quality audit;
  4. Control of the policies implementation and/or Higher Education Standards for IPMI Institute; and
  5. Improvement of policies and/or Higher Education Standards for IPMI Institute.
