In support of the development of students' ability to do case analysis, IPMI Case Center holds an annual Case Competition for students. The opportunity of participating in competition is also increasingly being expanded to the international realm. Especially for IPMI students who take part in international case competitions held by other business institutes, this can also play a role in bringing together students from schools across the globe. It also exposes the students and their campuses to greater levels on an international scale.

About 96% of all businesses in Indonesia are family businesses. Large and small, the success of family businesses throughout the country has been a part of an important contribution to the present and future achievement of the Indonesian economy. It has also become one of the building blocks for the nation's welfare. IPMI Case Center through IPMI’s Family Business Center, endeavors in providing education, research, and services, specifically aimed at helping Indonesian family-businesses to survive, sustain and succeed. In carrying out this mission, we are supported by the doyen of the network of family businesses in Indonesia, Ibu Shanti Poesposoetjipto. The Family Business Center is a collaboration with Yayasan Fitrah Bisnis Nusantara (Family Business Network Indonesia) in the success of our goals.

Faculty Case Writing Workshops which aims to train faculty to write a designated number of cases per year for their courses to ensure a healthy supply of relevant cases. IPMI makes it mandatory for its faculty to write Case Studies because we believe that it is necessary to deliver courses with a practical focus through enjoyable teaching for both participants and instructors. We organize several Case Writing and Case Teaching workshops every year that are for IPMI faculty and the public. Through a combination of research, brain-storming, discussion, and presentation of ideas, workshops serve as a tool to manage the needs of certain groups, especially students. We also held several seminars and power talks with interesting topics on economics and business. During this pandemic, seminars are held online via zoom as a form of continuity of the event.
