Collaborative Actions at Landscape Scale: The Case of Wehea-Kelay Forum in East Kalimantan, Indonesia
20 September, 2022The Wehea-Kelay Essential Ecosystem Area (EEA) is a 532,000-hectare region in East Kalimantan province in Indonesia. The EEA supports around 1,200 orangutans in mixed landscapes outside of protected conservation areas used by, among others, timber and palm oil companies and indigenous peoples.
The role of the private sector is crucial as the Wehea-Kelay landscape includes large palm oil and timber concessions. What is IPMI's Case Center?
5 July, 2021The mission of the IPMI Case Center is to be the custodian of the legacy of the founders of the School, Bustanil Arifin and Siswanto Sudomo. That legacy is the case-based, practitioner-oriented management education meant to produce globally competitive business leaders. Its vision is to expand the case teaching method into the 21st century focusing on Indonesian cases, at home and abroad, to support the continuing new curriculum developments at IPMI. These will include, among others, the development of experiential-based and live case methodology, multimedia cases and technology-based delivery using the case method.
