Sustainable Development Initiatives: A Spotlight on Progress
To promote sustainable agriculture commodity production and address deforestation, IPMI Case Center collaborates with the Tropical Forest Alliance South East Asia (TFA SEA), a non-governmental organization (NGO) affiliated with the World Economic Forum. Together, we create multiple case studies that spotlight Indonesia’s efforts in sustainable development, aimed at attracting foreign investors to the country. These case studies showcase Indonesia’s dedication to sustainable palm oil development, deforestation mitigation, sustainable commodities, and emissions control. Furthermore, we have extended our efforts to craft case studies for national NGOs, such as Perhimpunan Filantropi Indonesia (PFI).
IPMI Case Center is an active member in the Jurisdictional Collective Action Forum (JCAF), an initiative focused on establishing a collaborative model for sustainable solutions, promoting green economic growth, and contributing to national low-carbon development and sustainable development goals.
Our involvement in this forum underscores our unwavering commitment to sustainability, which has the potential to bring about a positive and meaningful impact. It is crucial for us to unite and plan initiatives that not only support sustainability but also lead to genuine transformation. At IPMI Case Center, we understand that addressing deforestation and delinking it from corporate supply chains is a moral obligation. We are committed to taking this responsibility seriously and making a meaningful contribution. While deforestation problems are complex and widespread, they are not impossible to overcome. This presents us with an opportunity to effect meaningful change.
