The local and international business environment, which is increasingly volatile with the digital disruption, makes companies obliged to prepare themselves to sort up in strengthening their fundamentals. The Ecosystem Edge strategy is a proactive step to reduce the potential negative impacts of this turmoil and seize opportunities in the era of digital disruption. By implementing this strategy, companies are invited to prepare for transformation to face competition in the new era.
This training is based on a best-selling book that is currently hot buzzwords among the business elite: Ecosystem Edge, by Arnoud De Meyer and Peter Williamson. This book examines how businesses can face the challenges of the era of disruption by building a large and dynamic ecosystem, consisting of partners who mutually reinforce and encourage innovation.
Important topics that will be discussed in this workshop include Context and Concept of Ecosystem Strategy, Differences from mainstream strategies a la Porter, Barney, Hamel &, Prahalad, and Hao Ma, Strengths and Weaknesses of the Ecosystem Strategy, and case examples of its application domestically and internationally.
This workshop uses adult learning methods: interactive presentation of concepts, case studies, examples of real applications, sharing experiences, class discussions.
The facilitator of this workshop are professors who have experience as trainers, consultants, and real business practices for more than 35 years, so they can sharing of experiences first-hand.
