IPMI at The 26th IAGBT – KITRI Biannual Conference and Research Symposium

Here’s the recap of The 26th IAGBT – KITRI Biannual Conference and Research Symposium which was held from July 22-24, 2021.

The conference was organized by The International Academy of Global Business and Trade (IAGBT) and the Korea International Trade Research Institute (KITRI), co-organized with the&nbsp,Asia Trade Association (ATA), East Asian Trade Association (EATA) and the Northeast Asian Business and Economic Association (NABEA). This year, it carried the theme of “Discovering Global Entrepreneurship and New Trade Trends amidst Disruption and Emergent Hybrid Systems.”

In view of the ongoing pandemic, this year’s conference was held virtually which was attended by scholars and academicians from 15 countries. However, this did not hinder the enthusiasm of the participants in presenting their papers and research.

IPMI International Business School is one of the participants among other business and economic institutes/universities spread across various countries in the world, including from Austria, Bangladesh, China, Indonesia, Ireland, Japan, Korea, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Philippines, Romania, Vietnam, USA, Uzbekistan.

Hosted in Korea (online time), Executive Director, Prof. Ir. M. Aman Wirakartakusumah, M. Sc., Ph.D.&nbsp,from&nbsp,IPMI was honoured to deliver the welcome speech as well as being the presenter of the keynote speech.

Eka Sri Dana Afriza became the representative of IPMI on the first day presenting her research with the subject Understanding Corporate Communication Initiative for The Employees Midlife Crisis Management: A Preliminary Theoretical Framework.

Then there was Wiwiek Mardawiyah Daryanto from IPMI together with representatives from SBM ITB who presented the Analysis of Financial Performance Before and During the COVID-19 Pandemic in PT. Astra International Tbk.

Followed by Mahonri Lukas and Firdaus Basbeth from IPMI presenting their paper entitled The Moderating Role of Member’s Rank Does It Affect Customer Retention.

Alongside, Firdaus Basbeth also presented her other research together with Irfan Risyad Sumapraja on the same day regarding The Actual Websites Usage and The Moderating Role of Perceived Security Mobile Payment in Online Shopping.

July 23rd, 2021

On the second day we had Nadia Ingrida, Risa Bhinekawati and Liza Agustina Maureen Nelloh from IPMI who presented about The Mediating Role of Brand Awareness of Social Media Content Marketing on Purchase Decision of Personal Care Stores in Indonesia.

Also Boby Herman Parluhutan Tambunan and Firdaus Basbeth with their presentation on Behavioral Intention to Use LMS using Technology Acceptance Model: An Empirical Study In STM-IPMI.

The last presentation from IPMI today was delivered by Rio Kurniawan and Firdaus Basbeth, bringing the subject about Perceived Faculty Readiness and Student Satisfaction during Online Learning in Covid Pandemic.

July 24th, 2021

On the last day, Yulita Fairina Susanti from IPMI performed her paper on The Effect of Marketing Mix And Consumers’ Characteristics Toward Purchase Intention Of Uniqlo Among Millennial Generation In Jakarta.

The conference ended on Saturday 24th July with an awarding and closing ceremony.

We’d like to congratulate IPMI representatives who received the best paper awards namely Nadia Ingrida, Risa Bhinekawati and Liza Agustina Maureen Nelloh for their paper entitled The Mediating Role of Brand Awareness of Social Media Content Marketing on Purchase Decision of Personal Care Stores in Indonesia.
