All of a sudden, her subscribers jumped from 75,000 to 450,000 in her 4th year of college. To date, the number of subscribers of Nessie’s account has reached more than 1.5 million people. How cool is that!

Fun Tips to be a Youtuber from Nessie Judge!
1. University is Still Important
To rebut or reject the statement “A Youtuber doesn’t need to get higher education”, you should know that a lot of knowledge you get in college is used when one becomes a content creator on YouTube. ,Being a Youtuber will make you meet, and perhaps collaborate, with many brands. To deal with this, marketing skills will be required. Luckily for Nessie, she learned the knowledge she needed through the Marketing study program at IPMI campus.
2. The Role of Marketing Knowledge in Running a Youtube Channel
Marketing knowledge is important to learn because we have to know what the YouTube viewers need. The answers will be obtained with marketing theories, such as SWOT Analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat) and 4Ps (Price, Place, Product, Promotion). ,The Youtuber is the product of the marketing itself. You have to market, or promote, yourself, and it takes more than a product. If you fail in a product, you can just move on with another product.
What needs to be paid close attention to and considered carefully is to not say the wrong things or do a wrong branding, because it will be dangerous for the future.
3. Choose a Campus That Supports Activities as a Youtuber
Pursuing knowledge must remain your top priority! In addition, it is important to choose a campus that will support your activities as a Youtuber. Like Nessie’s campus, IPMI International Business School, which is very supportive. ,Back in the day, when Nessie still liked to create her YouTube content on campus, she was allowed to use campus facilities. As an international business school, IPMI certainly teaches how one can market their YouTube channel so that it can attract more users to watch it.
According to Nessie, IPMI campus really supports the dreams and visions of its students. Wow, what an ideal campus!
4. Have the Intention to Create Useful Content
Nessie has a message for you! She advises that if you just want to be famous via YouTube, then it is better not to be a Youtuber because popularity is the last priority.
Popularity will come by itself, the important thing is that you are consistent in creating content, as well as keeping your content interesting and worthwhile for your subscribers to watch. If there is no passion, then after 2-3 videos you’ll be lazy or tired.
What do you think? Do you want to become a Youtuber? Hopefully your dreams can be achieved. If you want to follow in the footsteps of Nessie, go study the knowledge she gained at IPMI International Business School!
