Kunjungan Perusahaan Virtual IPMI BBA: Martha Tilaar

On November 12, 2021, IPMI BBA Program conducted a company visit to Martha Tilaar Group (PT Martina Berto, Tbk) which has existed in Indonesia since 1970. The company that is close to us every day through its beauty products, especially for women, was started by DR. (H.C.) Martha Tilaar. Until now, it has been 50 years since Martha Tilaar Group has contributed to the Indonesian beauty industry as well as internationally.

On that occasion, IPMI BBA students had the opportunity to know more about the company through an interview with the Centre of Research Development of Martha Tilaar Indonesia, Ms. Devi Junardy. From the presentation, the students could see how Martha Tilaar’s products were born. From the plant research to formulation development, then a standardization process to packaging development and product appraisal.

All the tests and trials are done until a product is believed to be stable, safe and effective to be produced and distributed to the general public. In addition, a company profile video telling the company’s history, growth, brands &amp, products was also shown.

We hope that by participating in the event, many of our students are able to learn valuable lessons and values, especially those related to business skills &amp, management. We also hope that they are motivated to keep developing in order to achieve success.
