Ipmi and Bank Indonesia Officially Launched BI Corner

IPMI International Business School and Bank Indonesia officially has launched BI Corner located in IPMI Campus on Tuesday, January 24, 2016. The BI Corner is an extension of IPMI’s main library and serves as a public learning space.

The ceremony were attended by the assistant communication Director of Bank Indonesia Hendra Nazaldi, Dean of IPMI Prof Roy Sembel, Executive Director &amp, CEO of IPMI Jimmy Gani, and Director of Academic of IPMI Yulita Susanti.

Hendra explained that central bank builds BI Corner as one of the concern for BI in realizing the nation’s smart generation by fostering interest in reading for Indonesian young generation. He added that BI will build 1,000 BI Corners in universities of Indonesia.

BI Corner is part of Social Program of Bank Indonesia (PSBI) entitled “Indonesia Cerdas”. It is a mini library that provides books on economics, business, banking, management of Islamic economy, Islamic banking, banking law, taxation, encyclopedias, and and equipped with computer facilities and audio-visual as supporting information-based IT.
