IPMI BBA Student Team Advances to the Finals of IYREF 2025 Business Case Competition

Jakarta, May 26, 2025.

Another proud achievement has been made by students of IPMI International Business School. The Finova Green Team—consisting of Galih Gerhana (BBA’24), Laila Adinda Safitri (BBA’24), and Najwa Alimah (BBA’24)—successfully advanced to the finals of the Business Case Competition at the 2025 Integrated Youth Renewable Energy Festival (IYREF), organized by the Society of Renewable Energy (SRE) on Sunday, May 25 at ITB Campus, Bandung.

IYREF is a prestigious national competition aimed at encouraging youth involvement in generating innovative solutions in the fields of renewable energy and sustainable development. This year’s competition attracted 240 teams from top universities across Indonesia, including Universitas Indonesia (UI), Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), and Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) as the host.

Out of all participants, 140 teams were selected for the semifinal round, and the Finova Green Team from IPMI successfully secured a place in the finals, held on-site at ITB Ganesha Campus, Bandung. The team proudly ranked fourth among the nation’s top 11 finalists—an outstanding accomplishment that brings national recognition to IPMI.

 

“This achievement is a valuable opportunity—not only for our personal development but also as a way to represent IPMI on a national stage,” said Galih Gerhana, leader of the Finova Green Team.

This success reflects the collaborative spirit, innovation, and dedication of IPMI students in tackling global challenges, particularly in the sustainable energy sector.
