Dr. Firdaus Basbeth
Dr. Firdaus is the Head of the Graduate Program at IPMI. Her expertise is in Strategic Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Social Innovation, and Operation Management (Quality Management). She is a certified Quality Management Auditor and with more than 20 years of experience in managerial positions in many multi-national companies such as Akzo Nobel, Leighton Constructions, Weatherford International, SAI Global and Lloyd’s Register.
She was the senior lecturer for UMK Malaysia and a trainer in QMS for Lloyd’s Register in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Her publication including Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modelling using SmartPLS3 (book) published in Malaysia 2018, some articles in ISI journal and Scopus indexed journal in Entrepreneurship and Business Strategy. She ran many workshops for UMK Malaysia, UPM Malaysia, and Institut Teknologi Surabaya for Quantitative Data Analysis using SmartPLS3. She still actively learns and writes PLS-SEM articles together with the best guru in PLS-SEM in Malaysia: Prof. Ramayah.
Her research interest includes social innovation, and currently, she is a Master Trainer for Pendamping Desa Wisata, a community development program initiated by the Ministry of Tourism. Dr. Firdaus received her doctoral degree in Strategic Management in Universitas Padjadjaran with a cum-laude predicate, and her MM degree in Finance and Banking from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), as well as her bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering. She got her Management Development Workplace certificate from Mt. Eliza Business School Monash University, Australia.
Dr. Firdaus Basbeth teaches in BBA and MBA program classes at IPMI International Business School.
