Our Curriculum

Our policy regarding Academic Atmosphere means setting up an academic environment, from the first day in a class, and always keeping high expectations. It can be summarized in five concepts:

1. CONSISTENCY
   Consistency means that one who enters IPMI learning environment on the first day and assumes that learning begins that day. And then the faculty and staff, follow through! We act the same way in the different learning situations, no matter what is going on at home, at work, or in the world. We do not change our attitude or, more importantly, the way we handle discipline problems. We keep our credibility with our students by being consistent.
2. FAIRNESS
   Fairness goes hand in hand with consistency. We do not treat students differently. We may have personal likes or dislikes but we never let this spill over into our learning situations. We are transparent and fair so that students will trust us. And trust is paramount for an effective learning environment. What we say is what we mean and we always help the students see that we believe in their abilities. We tell them that we know they can learn what we are teaching and we show our attention and interest to them. Then we reinforce this by praising authentic achievements.
3. FIRMNESS
   Learning occurs when the students understand from the beginning that the Institution is fair but firm. We consistently apply established rules. We discipline without raising voices and/or confronting. We are representatives of our discipline.
4. ENTHUSIASM
   Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm [enthusiasm= in + theos (God in Greek)] meaning: ‘I have the God insight me’, i.e. ”I am in an elevated state of consciousness“ , i.e. “I can do extraordinary things”. In IPMI International Business School we are enthusiastic about our work and our Mission. Furthermore we know that enthusiasm is contagious. So, day in and day out, we are spreading enthusiasm to everybody: our students, colleges, associates, sponsors, the society as a whole, the entire world: with consistency, fairness and firmness.
5. GLOBAL OUTLOOK
   IPMI International Business School is presently developing an ambitious student exchange program for the undergraduate students, where leading institutions across the globe is invited in a structured collaboration. It is where an agreed number of students is exchanged every semester to enhance the global outlook. For IPMI as initiator, this will mean a large number of fellow students from all over the world at the home-campus and also that you are encouraged and supported to spend two semesters abroad in two different partner school locations. In addition IPMI International Business School faculty and staff will come from all over Asia, Europe and US.
