The IPMI PowerTalk Series 2024 showcased a diverse range of themes, featuring esteemed experts from various industries to discuss critical and timely topics shaping the global and local business environment. With approximately 360 total participants (50–60 participants at each session) the series welcomed a blend of IPMI’s BBA and MBA students, faculty, alumni, and external audiences in a hybrid format to foster meaningful engagement. The events reflect IPMI’s unwavering commitment to delivering thought leadership and preparing future leaders for complex challenges in the ever-evolving global landscape.

The series began with Sultan Isnainsyah, Vice President and Head of Business Support & Development at Indosat, on January 23, 2024, discussing “Digital Customer Experience Innovation and Trend.” Sultan’s insights highlighted strategies for delivering exceptional customer satisfaction and adapting to evolving technological landscapes in the digital age. On February 29, Ariestyo Reza, CEO of Antara ETP, took the stage with “Navigating Fintech Disruption with Extraordinary Strategies.” This session unpacked the transformative power of fintech and its implications for innovation and sustainability in finance.
The PowerTalk Series then explored broader national and regional themes. On June 15, 2024, Dr. Achmad Jaka Santos Adiwijaya, Secretary of the Nusantara Capital City Authority (IKN), delivered a compelling talk on “Nusantara: The New Indonesia’s Capital City Towards Golden Indonesia 2045.” This event underscored the strategic planning and development goals aimed at realizing Indonesia’s long-term vision. A month later, Gita Wirjawan headlined “The Southeast Asia Lecture Hall x IPMI Power Talk” on July 15, 2024, offering profound insights on the opportunities and challenges in “Business in Southeast Asia,” with a focus on the region’s dynamic economic and cultural landscape.

The series concluded with forward-looking discussions in October and November. On October 15, Jackal Ma led a conversation on “Leaders with Mission: Bridging the Global Inclusion and Equality Gap with Technology Innovation,” emphasizing the transformative role of technology in fostering inclusivity. The final session on November 14 featured Andri Daulay, Director of BTS Consultant, who discussed “Creating Multipliers Culture: How the Best Leaders Make Everyone Smarter.” This talk focused on leadership strategies that empower and elevate teams to their full potential.
