Nowadays, “Big Data” and “Data-Driven” have become a trend that is commonly used by companies/ organizations as approaches to help them make fast and targeted strategic business decisions. However, most people still think of big data as a complicated thing and tend to think of it more as a technology, infrastructure, or an application so that many leaders are still hesitant to use it.

Questions for all professionals:
What do you do when you are going to make strategic business decisions? Do you rely on the management theory that you have ever known? Or listen to the input from your team or colleagues? Or simply rely on your intuition as a well-experienced leader? Or actually, you have started to think about being able to take advantage of the data available around you in making decisions but are still confused about how to do it.

The collaboration between Didik.co, Volantis.io, and IPMI International Business School will help you, the leaders who want to understand decision-making techniques based on data analysis. Our facilitators who are experienced practitioners in applying Big Data will guide you, step by step, to understand the concept of Big Data, assist you in exploring data, processing it, and interpreting it to make strategic decisions.

This is an overview of how we guide you each week:
1. Week 1: Design Thinking – Get Ready for Digital Transformation with the right mindset!
What you will learn:
Change the mindset to be ready for digital transformation using the Design Thinking approach Defining strategic business problems/ targets/ targets/ KPI/ OKR and parameters that have an impact on business performance.
2. Week 2: Basic understanding of Big Data for business strategy decision making
What you will learn:
What is Big Data (Data Journey, steps to a Data-Driven Company)? What is the importance of Big Data analysis Introduction to Big Data Application in business?
3. Week 3: Big Data System and its applications
What you will learn:
Introduction to the Volantis data connection platform with central data management, creating data visualization pre-processing data, and Machine Learning Models Linking data/models for existing applications.
4. Week 4: Data exploration – Turning insights into strategic business decisions
What you will learn:
Use data to create visualization and dashboard to gain insights. Define and make strategic business decisions by reading the dashboard.
5. Week 5: Get straight to the job with a Capstone Project
What you will learn:
Practicing all decision-making steps starting with the definition of business problems and solving them by using Design Thinking, knowledge of Big Data, and data exploration to get fast and targeted decisions.

Every Saturday, August 29th, 2020, and September 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th, 2020.
At 09.00 – 11.00 WIB via the Zoom meeting.
