Vice Rector I of Academic and Student Affairs

Prof. Whidya Utami is an esteemed academic and expert in Retail Management and Entrepreneurship. She currently serves as the Vice Rector I of Academic and Student Affairs at IPMI International Business School. With a career spanning over three decades, she has held strategic leadership roles, including Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Dean of the School of Management and Business at Universitas Ciputra Surabaya.

Education:

  • Doctoral Program in Management, Universitas Airlangga (Cumlaude).

  • Master of Management, Universitas Airlangga (Cumlaude).

  • Bachelor of Economics, Universitas Airlangga.

Expertise & Certifications: Prof. Utami is a certified professional with international credentials, including Certified Professional Marketer (CPM Asia), Certified in Retail Management Expert (CRME), and International Certification in Coaching Leadership (CLC). She is also an active assessor for BAN-PT and LAMEMBA.

Research & Publications: Her research focuses on Entrepreneurial Marketing, Blue Ocean Strategy, and Retail Operations. She has authored several influential textbooks such as “Retail Management: Strategy and Implementation” and “Entrepreneurial Marketing: Concept and Implementation”.
