IPMI Students Visit PT Sasa Inti to Explore ESG Implementation and Food Industry Innovation

Students from IPMI International Business School conducted an industrial visit to PT Sasa Inti, a leading food manufacturing company in Indonesia, on Friday (June 13, 2025). Held at the company’s headquarters in Kemanggisan, West Jakarta, the visit carried the theme “ESG and Innovation” and took place from 08:30 to 11:30 AM.

The main objective of the visit was to provide students with firsthand insights into the practical implementation of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles and innovation strategies within the industry. During the session, Sasa’s management team delivered a comprehensive presentation on the company’s commitment to environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and sound corporate governance.

In addition to the presentation, students had the opportunity to engage in interactive discussions, observe real-time business processes, and learn how Sasa integrates technological innovations into its operations. Participants were notably enthusiastic, asking questions and taking notes—particularly about energy efficiency initiatives, waste management practices, and community empowerment programs.

This visit is part of IPMI’s ongoing experiential learning agenda, which regularly connects students with industry practitioners to equip them with practical knowledge and real-world business perspectives.

Through this program, IPMI aims to prepare its students to become future business leaders who are not only academically proficient but also socially responsible and sustainability-minded in their professional endeavors.
