Halal Expo Indonesia is one of the leading international platforms that brings together stakeholders across the halal ecosystem-ranging from government institutions, academia, industry leaders, investors, and global organizations. The event serves as a strategic forum to discuss innovation, sustainability, and collaboration in strengthening the global halal industry, particularly within the D-8 (Developing Eight) member countries.

In this prestigious forum, Dr. Firdaus moderated the session titled “Halal Critical Raw Material Innovation”, which addressed a crucial issue at the heart of the halal value chain: the development and sustainability of halal-certified raw materials. The discussion brought together experts from academia, industry, and government to explore challenges such as import dependency, supply security, commercialization, and international cooperation.
